If you are unsure, you can always call us and schedule a free inspection. If you don’t want to wait, you’ll need to take a look in your crawl space and attic. These are the most common areas we find significant mold problems. These pressurized spaces force mold into your home through gaps and cracks. In the PNW, mold is extremely common. We tend to find it more frequently in homes built in the last 30 years, as the wood is less mold resistant.

You can also test the air in your home with a spore trap test, but we recommend starting with a free visual inspection. If we don’t see it during a visual inspection, an air test will likely be a waste of money. Some companies use air quality meters; however, they are inaccurate and misleading.
